JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES
The goal of the Business Development Center (BDC) is to develop sales and service business for
the CLC dealership to improve engagement and relationship building via phone leads, internet &
other various marketing leads.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Daily, Weekly, Ongoing
- Be on time for designated shifts
- Conduct outbound calls to customers requesting additional information about inventory at CLC
- Set appointments for customers requesting additional information
- Answer inbound calls to CLC dealership; direct to appropriate CLC staff member when not a
BDC matter
- When client cannot visit CLC in person, forward to appropriate CLC salesperson/management
for appropriate follow up
- Check CLC lead generating websites to ensure all contacts are addressed via phone and/or
email response
- Eliminate or reduce missed calls, hang ups, and other mishaps, especially during periods of
high call and floor traffic volumes
- Connect potential customers to the dealership by effective follow up via confirming in
person appointments 24 hours prior
- Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their experience and vehicles, ask
for referrals, ask for positive online review (Google, etc.)
- Complete and attend training as required by ownership

- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features, comparing
competitive models
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements
and interests to various models; building rapport.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and rapport
building
- In-depth knowledge of the dealership's vehicles, finance options and sales process
- Intuition to anticipate which cars will appeal to different customers
- Active listening to best determine a customer's wants and needs
- Persuasiveness to convince customers to make appointment at CLC dealership
- Confidence to create a positive impression on customers
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate appointments with sales team, the financing
department and or other CLC management
- A welcoming and friendly demeanor on phone and in person
- Knowledge and passion for vehicles
EDUCATION & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED, College Preferred
- Previous Marketing & Sales Experience — Automotive Preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES
A Car Salesperson is responsible for selling cars, trucks, and vans from CLC for personal and
commercial use.
Duties include meeting with customers to discuss their needs, promoting sales offers at the CLC
dealership, and participating in test drives with interested customers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Daily, Weekly, Ongoing
- Be on time for designated shifts
- Walk through automotive lot to ensure awareness of current inventory
- Check CLC website to ensure awareness of current inventory
- Greet customers at the dealership, in the lot and office space: "Welcome to Cobb Luxury
Cars, How Can We Best Help You Today?"
- Answer customer questions about cars, financing, and purchase process (working closely with
finance manager and fellow salesperson colleagues)
- Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per
CLC's best practices
- Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers' vehicles (working with Finance
Manager)
- Close sales and ensure customers are aware of recommended warranties and services
- Complete sales process by inputting all sales into CLC's database
- Communicate with management re: daily priorities or issues from previous day to follow up
with
- Communicate with BDC manager re: sales leads to follow up on
- Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
- Complete and attend training as required by ownership
